Forge Hire

Are you a Blacksmith or a blacksmith in training without a forge? Come along and hire a workspace, two options available.

Option 1- ’experience day for the experienced’

For novice blacksmiths and year 1 and 2 students:

You will have some forge experience and knowledge. You should have a project in mind that you are working on independently but our friendly Blacksmith will be on hand should you need some guidance.

Gas is provided. You are welcome to use our equipment or bring you own. You must provide you own materials, or speak to us about having them ready for you.

£120 per day (8 hours)

£60 half day (4 hours)

Option 2: independent forge hire.

For experienced blacksmiths and students (minimum year 2 completed).

Full independent use of forge, anvil, power hammer and tools (or bring your own). Gas included. No materials supplied.

£60 per day (8 hours)

Please ensure you a wearing appropriate clothing and footwear (no synthetics). There will be a waver to sign upon entry.
